Garden

An eight-page hand-crafted pop-up book based off of William Chyr’s, Manifold Garden, a puzzle game that reimagines physics and space. The book highlights a critical mechanic of the game, the cube, and their role in the game. The cubes trigger switches to open doors, they hold up other blocks, and redirect water. They are also seeds that grow into trees and fruit that grows on the trees. The folding technique of kirigami is used to create three dimensional forms reminiscent of the Brutalist architecture featured in the game.
